Every current has a story — where it's been, what it's carried, what's shaped its path.

And I’m ready to hear your story. I offer therapy for trauma, ADHD, grief and more in Wilmington, NC and virtually across North Carolina.

A woman with light brown hair and a gentle smile stands on a beach with waves in the background, wearing a cozy beige sweater and white pants, with arms crossed, during sunset.

Welcome to slow current psycHotherapy

Slow Current was created from a simple belief: healing can't be hurried. After years of walking alongside people through trauma, grief, and the things they'd never said out loud, I wanted to build a practice that moves at a different pace. This is a place to slow down, do the real work, and begin moving toward a healthier, more fulfilling life — without rushing any part of it.
