Please Do Not Send Clinical Information Through This Site

Email, contact forms, and social media messages are not secure or HIPAA-compliant methods of communication. Please do not include clinical details, diagnoses, symptoms, or other sensitive health information when contacting us through the Site. If you would like to discuss whether we may be a good fit, use the contact form to request a consultation and we will follow up by phone or through a secure client portal.

Information We Collect

Information you provide voluntarily. If you complete our contact or consultation request form, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method, and any message you choose to write. We use this solely to respond to your inquiry.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our Site may automatically log technical information including your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, the pages you visit, and the date and time of your visit.

Retention

We retain website inquiry information only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and to meet any applicable legal or professional recordkeeping obligations. Clinical records are retained according to North Carolina law and applicable professional standards, as described in your intake documents.

Children

Our Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly. (Services for minor clients are arranged directly with a parent or legal guardian and are not initiated through the Site.)

Your Choices

You may decline to provide information through the Site; the only consequence is that we may be unable to respond to an inquiry. You may request that we delete a website inquiry from our records by contacting us at taylor@slowcurrentpsychotherapy.com.
